Description

The Easy Latch is a purpose designed latch that works seamlessly with self‑closing gate systems. It has been developed to provide safe, simple and inclusive access for all users, making it ideal for public rights of way, footpaths and bridleways.

Easy Latch can be operated from either side of the gate and is accessible at multiple heights, helping to accommodate disabled ramblers, pedestrians, and horse riders. It is also suitable for retrofitting to existing gates, making upgrades quick and cost effective.

The Easy Latch system can be configured to suit a wide range of applications. Simply choose the options that best meet your requirements.

 

Easy Latch Kits

Wooden Gate Kit

Designed to fit wooden gates, this kit can be mounted on either the 2nd or 3rd rail, depending on preferred operating height or rail spacing.

Supplied as a complete kit including:

  • Spring latch assembly for wooden gates
  • Screw on handle bracket
  • Large stand off auto catch
     

Steel Gate Kit

 

Designed to replace existing springs on Ashbourne or Half Mesh steel gates, providing a straightforward upgrade.

Supplied as a complete kit including:

  • Spring latch assembly for steel gates
  • Clamp on handle bracket
  • Large stand off auto catch

Available in two handle styles to suit different user needs:

Straight Handle
The original design, still favoured by many horse riders.


Trombone Handle

Developed to offer the easiest possible operation for all users, particularly those using mobility vehicles.

 

Easy Latch 2‑Way Auto Catch

 

The 2‑Way Auto Catch is designed for use with two way self closing gates and is suitable for installation on footpaths and bridle paths.

Key features:

  • Can be used with or without the Easy‑Latch kit and handle, depending on application
  • 175mm wide fixing bracket to suit wooden posts
  • Supplied with two operation instruction signs
